MIKE HE

Mike He Jun Xiang started his career in acting an idol series in Taiwan as a small case. He attracted eyes of a lot of audiences and went popular after hosting the entertainment news on tv. He also modeled for magazines and TV commercials and become popular with his attractive figure, handsome looks, and charming smile. He then appeared in a few music videos with Valen Hsu and Angelica Lee before given real chance in acting. Mike does continue to feature with some other MVs, the more popular include his appearance in Ariel Lin’s and Rainie Yang’s MV.

Mike's first TV mini series was “7th Grade” in 2003/2004. He was already given the leading role alongside Ariel Lin despite being his first acting appearance. Modelling was something he still stayed active in and posed for a few classic advertisement as well as TV commercials. One of his most famous ads of all time is for an underwear company, which received mass reviews and praises from media and fans. He reunited with Ariel Lin again in 2004 TV drama “Love Contract” (????) and had a short but catchy appearance in “Say Yes Enterprise.”

2005 was the breakthrough year for Mike, his leading TV mini series “Devil Beside You” (?????) with Rainie Yang and Express Boy with Xu Wei Lun were 2 of the best rated TV series in Taiwan. His TV dramas were popular overseas as well and he has lots of friends in Japan, Korea, China and South East Asia as well as Western countries like Australia and USA.

Mike He has just finish filming his latest TV drama.. “Let's Get Married” (?????) and is starting his promotion tour in Taiwan, Australia and probably some other Asia countries. The series will be broadcasted somewhere in July.

Jatuh cinta pada idola kampus sekaligus kapten tim basket Shang Yuan Yi, Qi Yue yang adalah mahasiswi tahun kedua memutuskan untuk mengungkapkan perasaannya lewat sebuah surat yang sudah dipersiapkan dengan rapi. Rencananya, surat tersebut bakal diserahkan pada Yuan Yi.

Namun dasar ceroboh, surat itu akhirnya malah salah diberikan pada Jiang Meng yang dikenal sebagai mahasiswa tahun pertama yang berandalan. Saking kagetnya, gadis itu langsung lari terbirit-birit diiringi senyum licik pemuda yang akrab dipanggil A Meng tersebut.

Dari sahabat-sahabatnya, Qi Yue akhirnya tahu kalau A Meng adalah putri dari presiden kampusnya dan kerap menggunakan kekuasaannya tersebut untuk mempermainkan orang lain. Bisa ditebak, Qi Yue juga tidak lepas dari cengkraman pemuda itu.

Berbekal surat cinta yang ditulis untuk Yuan Yi, A Meng mengancam bakal mengedarkan sebanyak 1000 salinan yang bakal disebar ke satu kampus bila gadis itu menolak untuk menuruti keinginannya. Sejak itu pula, Qi Yue praktis jadi budak Ahmon.

Meski benci setengah mati dengan A Meng, belakangan sikap Qi Yue berubah total saat tahu kalau pemuda itu ternyata memiliki hati yang lembut dan baik hati. Begitu juga dengan A Meng, yang mulai jatuh cinta pada gadis lugu tersebut.

Namun di saat hubungan keduanya mulai menghangat, muncul pukulan yang tidak disangka-sangka : ibu Qi Yue yang telah lama menjanda ternyata berpacaran dengan ayah A Meng dan bakal segera menikah. Tidak cuma itu, masih ada sejumlah penghambat yang muncul belakangan mulai pihak ketiga masing-masing pihak hingga ketidaksetujuan nenek A Meng.

Puncaknya terjadi ketika hubungan kedua orang mereka berantakan dan kemunculan adik A Meng yang berencana meghancurkan hubungan kakaknya dengan Qi Yue. Dari situ, mereka belajar banyak tentang cara mempertahankan cinta dari sekian banyak rintangan, yang bahkan sempat memisahkan keduanya selama setahun akibat urusan pribadi A Meng di Italia.

Kalau ada serial yang menghebohkan di tahun 2005 karena tema cukup berani seperti bullying (menyiksa atau melakukan tekanan terhadap pihak yang lebih lemah) dan kisah cinta (calon) kakak-adik, Devil Beside You patut dikedepankan. Jalinan ceritanya dikemas dengan baik sehingga bisa diterima dengan akal sehat dan bukan tidak mungkin merupakan potret dari kenyataan hidup sehari-hari.

Tong Jia Di (Rainie Yang) is a college student whose family has struggled to pay back their debts ever since her father died. Her best friend Xiao Nan (Chen Yen-xi) wants Jia Di to fall in love and she tries to set Jia Di up.
Xiao Nan carried out her first plan at a carnival by selling exchange coupons that she wrote on. There, Jia Di meets the two sons of the owner of the company, Huo Yan (Kingone Wang) and Huo Da (Mike He), who buy exchange coupons from Jia Di.
Then, on her 20th birthday, Xiao Nan wishes that Jia Di will ask the tenth guy who passes by for his phone number. This resulted in the trio meeting again. During this meeting, Jia Di asks for Huo Yan's phone number.
Huo Da's dislike for Jia Di soon changes after Jia Di fulfils her roles in accordance to the "angel-owner" service coupon that Huo Da bought.
Huo Da soon found out that he had fallen in love with Jia Di.
Eventually, Huo Yan and Huo Da both fall in love with Jia Di, and try to win her over in their own ways.
The drama details the struggle between the half-brothers over Jia Di.
Later on, Huo Da is diagnosed with Wilson's Disease and is dying. He chose not to reveal his illness to anyone except Yan Shu. However, Jia Di eventually found out what happened. She encourages Huo Da to live on for love.
Meanwhile, Huo Yan tries to find ways to cure his younger brother's sickness. He soon finds out that his brother will need a liver donation and the former is the only suitable donor. Huo Yan agrees to undergo the transplant depsite his heart problems.
Viewers are led to believe that the operation ended badly for Huo Da, however, it is later revealed that both brothers survived.

Rainie Yang Cheng Lin Biography

Yang Cheng Lin (Lily) started her entertainment career when she was 14, featuring in commercials in Hong Kong.

When Cheng Lin was 15, she went for a BMG audition in Taiwan and was selected to form a girls group “4 In Love.” It was during that time that Cheng Lin got her name ‘Rainie’ that was used ever since then. The other 3 members were named Sunnie, Windy and Cloudy.

Rainie Yang stood out as the most popular girl from 4 In Love after starring as Xiao-You in 2001 popular Taiwan TV mini-series “Meteor Garden.”

4 In Love released 2 albums and was quite popular in Taiwan, but was sadly disbanded in 2002 due to personal issues. The other 3 members decided to pursue different interest, only Rainie decided to continue her prospering entertainment career back then.

Rainie’s decision proved wise as her popularity continued to grow with her leading performance in 2002 superhit Taiwan TV drama “The Love Book.”

It’s also in 2002 that Rainie started hosting in TV shows, including as co-host for the popular entertainment show in Taiwan, “Guess, Guess, Guess” with Jacky Wu.

Rainie’s another breakthrough was in 2005, she become superstar with her acting in highly rated Taiwan drama, “Devil Beside You” alongside heartthrob Mike He Jun Xiang.

With the success of Devil Beside You, Rainie Yang went back to singing again… releasing her debut solo album “Ai Mei” or “My Intuition” in September 2005. With the assist of the popular TV drama and TV show she was involving, the album became a superhit, Rainie is recognised as a singer once again.

Rainie is crowned the ‘Godmother of Cuteness’ by the press and her fans as she is good in making cute voices and faces, some people actually think she’s overacting but Rainie’s fans love it.

Rainie Yang released her 2nd solo album “Yu Shang Ai” or “Meeting Love” in March 2006, and started promotion overseas in Hong Kong as well.

Why I like Rainie Yang Cheng Lin

I liked 4 In Love pretty much, and thought that Rainie was cute. She’s still cute these days but I actually love her as her matured lady in some of her TV dramas.

Rainie Yang is still young, only 23 and can still act cute and innocent, but sooner or later she will need to show more quality in her singing and acting to be a real international superstar.
